When did you all stop giving your kids a before bedtime bottle/sippy? Cooper still takes about 8oz of milk from his sippy right before bed and I am wondering when I should stop this and turn it into a snack before his bath. He eats dinner at about 5:30p after his 5p prevacid dose. And we take a bath around 7-7:15 and he usually gets his sippy about 7:30-7:45. Should I just be able to eventually push dinner time back and not have to do a snack or should I offer it as long as he wants it? I am so confused about these things. TIA.
Yikes! I did this till over 3 for Dylan and Carter was just not such a creature of habit so I can do his before bath. I say if it is part of the bedtime routine, then do what works, but if you are looking to change it for him, I would give it a try. If it didn’t work, though, I would go right back to what is working. I am all about getting as much sleep as possible!
I did the 8 oz of milk until Griffin was potty training which was just over 2, so I would say you have plenty of time to worry about that. I would rather give a glass of milk than trying to do supper and then another snack. Too much thought for me.
