March 12, 2010 at 3:31 pm #66025AnonymousInactiveI also had a lot of blistering / cracking with my second and the hospital gave me a cream to use, and I can’t recall the name of it. Is there a hospital close by that has a different lactation consultant. Telling you to suck it up does not seem to be a good answer– I would seek a second opinion.
March 12, 2010 at 4:39 pm #66027hellbenntKeymasteralso you
could call la leche league for help finding local free help(they have local groups) & maybe they know of another lactation consultant

I eat oatmeal everyday and I am exclusively pumping and I have been able to freeze close to 100oz already and I have ~6 feedings in my fridge. I am able to get about 7oz each pumping session and she eats 5oz 6 times/day. Drinking plenty of water helps a ton too… gotta stay hydrated to be able to make enough milk. Good luck, I wasn’t successful with my son but am doing well with daughter.
