Buffer Babies Omeprazole Help

We started giving this almost a month ago to my daughter. I have a few questions for those that are using this method, just to make sure that I am doing it correctly. I greatly appreciate your responses!!

1. I am cutting open the capsule per the BB directions. Inside the capsule is both a pill and beads. I am putting both into a coffee grinder and making a powder. Is this correct??

2. The liquid in both bottles seems to turn brown within a day or so. Is this normal?

3. Are there any restrictions on when to give Mylanta with this combo? I have read other posts that you should not give Mylanta within 4 hours of other PPI’s.

mylanta can be given near the bufferbabies; it’s the bufferbabies that makes it safe to give near food, etc. you MIGHT want to space it 2hrs, though, just to be safe?
