Can Gripe Water help with spit-up?

There are so many types, and some claim to help with spit up issues. Is there any truth to this?

It didn’t make the slightest bit of difference with us. Of course, looking back, he had WAY bigger issues (MSPI & a very low dose of meds at the time).

Maybe others have had more luck, but we did not. I remember how badly I wanted it to work!

We tried a gripe water called Colic Calm. It didn’t do anything for Bryce (except turned his spit-up black ). (It has some kind of charcoal stuff in it).

I love gripe water, most people say it doesn’t work (and as far as reflux is concerned, nope it never worked on that), but I use it all the time to get rid of hiccups and tummy aches and gas pains. I just buy the brand they sell at kroger.
