I hope I don’t seem ignorant or have missed an obvious as to where to order these products I read on here last night.
I go to the site where I read all about these products but all I can seem to order is the ph tester. I read where these products were available, then were not, then became available again in 2012, can anyone tell me the current status of these products and if I can order them, where, etc?
I have a 10 month old baby girl who is MISERABLE, I know you all understand, nothing helps! She is 16 lb, tried Zantac, no results, then Prevacid 15, no results, now Prevacid 30 no results.
She quit breastfeeding abruptly on Dec. 29 and has tried since but stops immediately and starts arching, etc.
I have been pumping every 3 hours and supplement with GentleEase but would love to try these new products. Any help is appreciated. THANK YOU!
Ok I see that I just missed the boat on ordering the products last week,RATS!
Anybody who can help me with a last minute order to them as a current customer or has extra medicine to sell, please let me know!

The company is closing and they are no longer producing the product. I personally love this product and it was the only thing that worked on my son. Prevacid was horrible! It didnt control his reflux and the side effects were terrible! IF i were you… not telling you what to do but just suggesting… I would make my own version of Tummy Care. I read a lot about it and the science behind it makes sense. You are virtually making the same on your own as tummy care. From what I have read … take 1 Zegerid Capsule and 1 Omneprazole capsule and mix with 19 ml of Mylanta Cherry Supreme. This is good for a week. keep refrigerated. the minimum dose is 3.5 ml…. but it depends on weight. My son is 6 months and weighs 17 lbs so we dose 5ml 3x/day. I recommend the three times a day as children metabolize medicine much faster. I hope this helps! I wish someone would have told me about tummy care earlier…. good luck!
February 28, 2013 at 9:54 pm #71730hellbenntKeymasteryes, the recipe is here, on this site- look in the Medicines Forum
zegerid mixing– has instructions for mixing the prescription packets
AND for using zegerid that you buy over the counter:
https://www.infantreflux.org/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=14637
zegerid has the drug prilosec in it and it has buffers, so that it can be given w/ food. Otherwise, you must give a PPI on an empty stomach, followed by a ‘meal’ 30 minutes later. Examples of situations where you have to follow the ’30 minute rule:’ if you use prevacid solutabs or, if you use either prevacid or prilosec capsules (you would open them up and give the beads inside the capsule- you would give on an empty stomach and administer the beads w/ 1/2 tsp of applesauce & then you would follow w/ a ‘meal’ 30 minutes later).
why should you care about zegerid? because you can give the medicine at any time, even with food, and you don’t have to worry about timing it around an empty stomach.
are there other options?
yes, you can buy over the counter capsules and administer the beads inside the capsule.
any other options?
you can try and TELL the pharmacist EXACTLY how to compound (make into a liquid) your prevacid or prilosec. However, for whatever reasons, it can be difficult to get a high enough dose prescribed and, for whatever reasons, pharmacist insist they’re doing it correctly their way and they don’t take kindly to compounding the way you or your doctor tells them to.
