InactiveSue & Christine, I think you are both right. I think I’ll try waking him up before we go to bed around 10 or 11 as well as limiting fluids after dinner. Thanks for the ideas.
Jill – LOL! Not good to lose your cabinet key! I’ll definitely check out the magnet locks. Haven’t had a chance to yet. Your nephew is hilarious! We just started potty training Parker too, and he’s pretty stubborn about it. I know he knows when he needs to go, but just doesn’t want to. It does help if we let him run around without a diaper on. My mom had 3 girls & 1 boy and always told me boys are SO much easier to train, but I think she just got lucky! I think boys are MUCH harder to train. Of course I haven’t had a girl yet.

InactiveKaelyn refuses to potty train. She will announce that she has to go potty and then go in her pull up. She just has no interest in using the potty.

InactiveI agree with the magnet locks too. The people who owned our townhouse before we bought it actually installed them, but they have been great. I have two cabinet keys becuase I can’t tell you how many times I have lost one.

InactiveWho make these magnet locks? Where do you get them?

InactiveWell, I bought one of the appliance locks for our fridge. Isaac has already found out how to open it.
I put it up as high on the fridge as possible, but he could still reach it. Oh well, it still keeps Parker out.
As for the magnet locks. I couldn’t find them in the store. I did find some online, but they were very expensive.

InactiveI’m not sure what you guys consider expensive, but here you can 4 locks and one key for 30 dollars Canadian. If you look on ebay, you can get better deals – I saw buy it now prices of 3 locks and 1 key for 10 dollars, or 5 locks and 2 keys for 27 dollars.
I love our tot loks, and we’re quite good with finding magnetic places to keep the keys that are out of the reach of the kids. But when we bought them, we hired the local baby proofers to do mass installations of all our babyproofing items. They seemed kind of complicated to do. Not sure if they really are, or if I’m just not handy that way.

InactiveI bought the magnet locks a while back at either Home Depot or Lowes. I believe they were pretty reasonably priced. I looked on their web sites but couldn’t find them for you… but they often don’t have everything on their websites. I’ll have my husband look next time he goes. -
