Choking Drinking a bottle

This is my 2nd baby with reflux and you would swear it was 10yrs ago I had to deal with it first off but it was only 3.5yrs. My first child was admitted with it and was put on losec and cow and gate comfort formula. He was brilliant this combination what I can remember.

My 2nd one has been on zantac (didnt work), Nutramigen which has calmed down the cramps etc, gaviscon and formula thickner but seems to upset his stomach. So were now just on Losec but my god every bottle is a nightmare. The choking screaming unable to drink it is killing me. Is this a sign that the medication isnt working? Or is this just a part of it and we have to live with it? I burp him every time he shows signs of struggling and he gets wind up but still cant swallow. Its like something is blocking the milk going down.

you can do this!

please research all you can and TELL your doctor(s) what it is that your baby needs…

I would give both the zantac & losec until you get things figured out- make sure to space the two meds 4 hrs apart

Have feed him twice this way and not one choking incident……..Im in heaven!!! I just hope its not by luck and it continues.
