Ellie needs surgry for malacia need info

Ellie(has layrgnotreacheamalcia) had her bronoscope on thursdayw/ her ped pulm, he determined her airway is to weak and needs reinforced. There are only 2 drs in PA that he trust to do the surgry. He called the closest one yesterday and he agreed to take on her case. He’s out of the office till next wend so i dont knwo how soon she ahve surgry. Our ped pulm is worried that if she developes a cold she will be hsopitalized. So he wants her treated asap. The good news is her O2 sat level never fell to low and was @100% most of the time!!

The surgry she’ll need is some kind of laszer they sortof calderize the muscle to help strenghtly the fibers in the muscle so it isnt so floppy. Does anyoen know anything about htis surgry or have any experience with it or can you point me where to look to learn about it?
