InactiveHi Nat,
I live just south of the cities in Farmington. 🙂 I’m sorry, I don’t know of a physician for you. My pedi doesn’t seem to familiar with anything but the liquid compounds and we haven’t had much luck so far. Right now we’re on compound Prevacid and according to Marci Kids our dose is pretty low. Today I scheduled an appt. with Dr. Sundeep Aurora, a Pediatric GI at Minnesota Gastroenterology in St. Paul. Our appt. isn’t until Dec 3 but I am very anxious for it!November 19, 2009 at 8:46 am #64599Anonymous

InactiveHi Amy,
How did you appointment with Dr. Aurora go?Thanks,NatJanuary 1, 2010 at 10:26 pm #65321Anonymous
InactiveHi Nat,
Sorry it took me so long to reply! Our appt. didn’t go as well as I had hoped. The GI basically said since he’s gaining weight well and isn’t bothered when he spits up, that he’s fine. Ugh…if only he had to try and get him to sleep just once! He did put him on Neocate formula and let us try Prevacid solutabs (which my ped wouldn’t). Unfortunately, he’s still struggling and I’m not even sure what step to take next. 🙁 I didn’t ask for the dose that Marci Kids recommends just because I thought I’d give it a try first and see how it goes. Right now he’s on a total of 15mg/day and Marci Kids says he should get 24-33mg/day. Maybe I should give him a call and see if I can up the dose. -
