Halloween costumes

Has anyone thought about Halloween costumes yet for their little ones? I am thinking about ordering Seth a cowboy outfit this year. He wears one of DH’s straw hats now and pretends to be one (thank you Western Wiggles!). He is so hilarious when he does it.

I’ve been thinking about Halloween costumes lately too. Parker wants to be a cowboy as well, so that should be pretty easy. Right now, Isaac wants to be Bob the Builder. We’ll see though. They usually change their minds a billion times before the actual day. I’m not sure what to dress Bryce up as. My husband and I usually dress up as well because we have a costume party. I thought of having dh dress up as the Cat in the Hat and have Bryce be Thing 1. LOL

Carter is going to be a tiger (old costume of Dylan’s) and Dylan has requested to be Curious George. I am so NOT domesticated, that I will be looking for one online LOL!

We bought Cooper a monkey costume last year (he wasn’t even born yet!!) but I love all the costumes in the catalogs… I may even get him another one just b/c they are so cute.

With two girls in our house, what else is there other than princesses… Cinderella and Belle. Last year, Sarah was the only girl in her class who didn’t want to be a princess. The other parents were surprised that she wanted to be supergirl. But now we’re into the princess trend. At least Sarah is, and whatever Sarah does Hailey has to do too.

Wow, I don’t know. Owen will be hand me down dragon Grffin’s first cosutme. Griffin still doesn’t really get whats going on with this Halloween thing. But of course he will love the idea of candy so he’ll be all over it with participating. He hasn’t said anything about it so I don’t know. I usually wait until the last minute, but have always bought from Old Navy. He loves Bob the Builder. If olny I could find a Thomas the Train costume! Hmmmmmm…… I have to get looking!

Claire was all about being a mermaid and she wanted Ben to be a lion. Now, she’s back to wanting to be a princess (what she was last year too!). I’m still trying to talk her out of it, but I have a feeling that Belle will reign supreme.

Alexis wants to be a witch and she wants Taylor to be Baby Shrek, I don’t think that one is happening. Taylor loves Elmo, so I might get her an Elmo costume, and I’m trying to convince Alexis to be Cookie Monster, but so far no luck.

I have no idea what jonah will want to be. I’m with Ann Marie-I’ll be buying his! he was Elmo last year…maybe I’ll get lucky & he’ll want to be Elmo again…but I doubt it…his love of Elmo is fading…

Ari can wear jonah’s cave man outfit or I also have a blue m & m that he can be…

Ok, I have Claire’s old lady bug costume. Aren’t red ladybugs male??? Would it be too weird to put Ben in it? I would love not having to buy another costume!

Kaelyn is going to be a koala bear. A friend of mine has the cutest costume that she is loaning us. Fortunately, Kaelyn loves it! Alex… I don’t know. Kaelyn didn’t really dress up for Halloween at this age. However, now Kaelyn will insist that Alex needs a costume!

I want Dagney to be a mummy since she’s just starting to take 1-2 steps now (and then flopping down!), but I figure by Halloween, she’ll walk like a mummy, so she minus well dress like one! I’m going to have to look online for a costume, since the only way I can think of making a mummy costume is w/ toilet paper, and I’m sure she would just eat it off her suit!

ohhh, I don’t know if Ariella will even LET me put a costume on her. Dressing for us is such a task these days. I don’t even want to start with changing the diapers.
