February 19, 2006 at 8:35 pm #1939AnonymousInactiveoh laura! if only i were preggo, then i would have a justification for buying another hotsling….maybe just get one and put it away for that ‘someday’?
and since i know you have an appreciation for adorable baby shoes….i’m sure you’ve already seen these, but i couldn’t pass up the opportunity to provide the link in case you hadn’t….just ordered riley a pair (he needs another pair of shoes like he needs a hole in his head! )

of course, the girls’ shoes are unbelievably adorable! (tiffany!!)
February 20, 2006 at 10:09 am #1966AnonymousInactiveThose shoes are the cutest ever, and my moose baby just outgrew the shoes we got her for Christmas . Thank you so much for sharing!
February 20, 2006 at 5:18 pm #2013hellbenntKeymasterthose shoes are so cute!
(and yes I’m digging the zoe– I have it tucked away, not hiding it really, because I’m not one to really sneak things, but not flashing it around just yet, lol– I also got a HaB http://www.hugabub.com from the for sale or trade board at TBW, for a great price, which I demonstrated for dh…he just lovingly thinks I’m a wacko, heh heh, and now I’m showing him photos of Ergos, trying to get him ‘into’ one of those…I think it’s working-my goodness I crack myself up!!!!!!!!!!)
February 20, 2006 at 10:37 pm #2046AnonymousInactiveThanks Laura! Just purchased the girlfriend, so I can wear it to my new babywearing group!
February 20, 2006 at 11:33 pm #2052AnonymousInactiveLaura, that hug a bub will be so great with your new baby. Did you use a stretchy wrap with Jonah when he was a newborn? I wore Ally in one from about 2 weeks and it was so, so wonderful. I have such tender memories of her in there, despite all the misery and screaming.
February 21, 2006 at 8:15 am #2063AnonymousInactiveI LOVE THE LOOK OF THE HUB A BUB! that looks, sigh, wonderful. tiffany, was it hard to use? i can certainly see why you would have tender memories of ally in there….
you’ll have to let me know how you like it, laura.
February 21, 2006 at 10:25 am #2084AnonymousInactiveGina, it wasn’t too bad. There was an initial learning curve but both DH and I had the hang of it after a day. Because of Ally’s intense need to be both upright and in motion at all times, I only took that thing off to bathe or adjust it and to sleep for months; until she was 6 weeks old, she slept in there while I was rocking on a rocking chair (until I had what can only be described as a nervous breakdown due to the sleep deprivation ). I really, really loved using that sling, she was so snug in there, and got to see her world from right next to mommy’s heart, which is so, so sweet.
Laura, do you have a Moby, too? If you do, I’d love to hear how the Moby and the Hug a Bub stack up against one another. When we get around to #2, I want to get one or the other (I gave my stretchy wrap to a friend and I don’t think I’m getting it back!).
February 21, 2006 at 7:34 pm #2144hellbenntKeymasterthe HaB comes with a video, but I’m not intimindated by it- for some reason stretchy wraps seem easier for everyone & my friend had a moby (I bought it for her) so if she can do it so can I…
the moby wasn’t around when jonah was born, just the HaB, but by the time I started researching baby carriers, I had already tried the commercial ring sling so I was more on that ‘route,’ plus the HaB new is so expensive (there was no http://www.thebabywearer.com to buy/trade carriers…)
this time around I’m psyched for the new Moby-Ds: http://store.attachedtobaby.com/detail.aspx?ID=177&Name= Moby-D

http://store.peppermint.com/moby-d.htmlahhh, can you believe I was around before TBW (w.thebabywearer.com) and before the Moby?

that’s why I’m posting here, in an ‘older’ topic…
I emailed Karen…
Frustrating, huh?
