Hi, haven’t been on here in awhile which is good news but we still are avoiding all dairy even hidden. And we have been off all Med’s since August so was have been doing really well…. but…. now we are going or want to try and reintroduce dairy.
I don’t know how to start and I am truly scared to death. I don’t know how to do it or what should I start with? Please any advice would be helpful.
yes still breastfeeding and I am avoiding all dairy even hidden.
Yes she is eating solid foods.
I didn’t want to introduce to my diet in case she had a bad reaction and it will take a long time for me to get it out of my diet.
I gave her somer Gerber crunch snacks that have sour cream and millk in them today. I have my fingers crossed and will see how she does. I just wonder whether or not it will be enough to see a reaction.
Here’s to hoping your LO tolerates the Gerber snack! 🙂 I would just add that you should consider consulting with your ped, just to be on the safe side. And if you’re interested this blog has some tips on how to trial dairy that might be helpful: http://bit.ly/941m0a.
GL and let us know how it goes… I’ll be in your shoes one day, my 3 month old has MSPI and so far seems to be getting better since cutting out all dairy and soy from my diet.
