How much should a 15wk old sleep?

I have no idea how much my 15 wk old should be sleeping and I was hopeing someone would know. This is my second reflux baby and my first never slept until he was 7 mos old. So, I have no idea what to expect. How many naps should he take and how much should he sleep at night. The main reason I am asking is because he was sleeping for 5 to 8 hours straight and then waking and sleeping for 3hr intervals after that. Now he will only sleep for 5 hrs max and then 2 hr intervals after that. I would blame it on the reflux, but that may not be it at all. I blame everything on the reflux. With this being my second refluxer, I don’t really know anything different.

I guess I should say that he doesn’t seem to be any fussier than usual and he seems to be eating okay. Any ideas anyone? If it’s normal than great, I just want to make sure I’m not doing anything wrong.

all babies are different.

My son sleeps about 8 hours at night and then during the day he is up
for two or 3 hours or so and then takes a nap for an hour or so.

At 15 weeks you’d like to see your son with 3 naps – two longer ones (1-2

hours) and one catnap (30-45 minutes). Probably about 15 hours/sleep day

total although of course every baby is different.

hmmm it is hard because all the days are blending together…

prob like the previous poster said. like 3 or 4 ish.

I always have followed the rule that you put the baby down after being up for 2 hours. I loved the book by Marc Weissbult- Heathly sleep habit happy child.
