when sylvia had to go potty when she was outside, she used to pull her bottoms off and then run in the house with a naked bum. now she is still pulling her pants off outside, but she just pees outside now, rather than bothering to come inside—-and then she doesn’t bother to get her clothes back on. i thought this was something little boys did—-not little girls!!!!

i wonder what the neighbors think.

haha that funny, i guess she could have learned it from her brotherS? my nephew actually does this too, but he is 4 and pee’d on my other nephews bike yesterday!

Well, Dylan definitely does this and has no shame! We have a little friend, Sophia, who is Dylan’s age and she will also pull her pants down and pee outside as well. Probably happens more with boys, but seen a girl do it, too.

That is so funny….not so funny for you maybe My husband STILL pees outside if we’re in the woods totally isolated. It’s sooooooo embarassing b/c I’m constantly terrified someone will walk by and think we’re loonies!!! It’s like this weird alpha-male thing of marking your territory? My brother used to do it all the time outside but I was always too embarrased and plus, toilette paper’s nice!!!

Too funny. I have so much to look forward too with little Cooper when he gets older. I know his daddy is going to teach him to go outside no matter what I do.

Claire- we live by a major street, but there is our dog house and then some trees and my dh always goes out there thinking no one sees him! Can’t wait till he gets caught!

Griffin was constantly naked when I put the pool up this summer, he would throw a fit when I tried to make him put on a swimming suit! He’s pees in our front yard all the time and it’s not like people aren’t watching! He will go outside from the inside to go???? I wonder when they start to frown on that (law enforcement) cause I think we need to tone it down at our house! It seems to happen a lot!

LOL Christine!… let me assure you that you’re not the only one. A few weeks ago we went hiking in the forest and Sarah had to pee. Conveniently, she was wearing a skirt, so dh was more than happy to take her behind a tree and teach her how to pee standing up. Last week we went hiking in the forest again, and we turned around to see Sarah pulling off her pants and heading towards a huge tree. When we asked her what she was doing she told us that she had to go pee. I knew there was no way she had to go b/c I just took her to the washroom right before we left. I think she thinks it fun to pull down her pants and pee in the great outdoors!…. not exactly the legacy I wanted dh to pass down onto her. I never much liked the idea of nature being one big toilet!
