KeymasterIf I ever get to blockbuster, I never know what to get- well, I go for the most mindless movie off of hte new release wall…
so anyway, I thought we could share our favorites and then if any of us ever has the time, we’d have some idea of what might be worth a shot…
here I go:
Garden State

Elizabethtown
Election (love Reese Witherspoon in this!)
Outside Providence
oldie: Harold & Maude
violent but good: True Romance
not a movie, but, if you ever get the flu, go rent the series Absolutely Fabulous & lie there in bed and it will make you feel better! well, it will if you’re me, LOL

Inactiveif you are really into mindless——rent “benchwarmers”. we giggled alot during this one. kevin was tired and said he was just going to sleep on the couch while we watched it—-but he stayed awake the whole time.
i really like stupid comedy and sci-fi——even bad sci-fi.

InactiveWe are sooo far behind in renting movies but if we ever get to, I want to see Mr. & Mrs. Smith, 40 Year Old Virgin, Meet the Fockers, Ray, the list goes on and on… so many movies so little time!! I was just telling Dh the other day we need to rent some and catch up.
I did manage to catch The Devil Wears Prada in the theatre- I would definitely recommend it when it comes out on DVD!!
My all time favorite movies are (yes, I am weird), The Parent Trap (original one with Hayley Mills), The Bodyguard, Pretty Woman, and all of the cult 80s movies like The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, etc!!

KeymasterTiffany,
I LOVE molly Ringwald, LOL
! I had my hair cut like hers in 16 candles…oh I love that movie
!we were lucky enough to go see Caberet on broadway (before Jonah) and Molly Ringwald & John Stamos starred in it…ahh…but I digress!
as for ‘Originals’ I love the original Freaky Friday

also the last movie I saw in the theater was the Devil Wears Prada- I was big & preggo and went out on one last ‘date’ before having Ari…

InactiveWe’re so behind with all the new movies too.
The last movie we saw in theaters was Pirates of the Carribean 2 (we’re big fans). I wanted to see Lake House but never got around to it. It’s so hard to go to movies with Bryce who eats every 3 hrs. (feeding tube, etc.
)I love those original Disney movies too – Freaky Friday, Parent Trap…
Other favorites:
While You Were Sleeping
Wedding Singer
Sixth Sense
Serendipity
The Back to the Future moviesBryce’sMom2006-9-30 0:32:35

InactiveWe don’t go out a lot or rent (budget thing), and I don’t usually do suspense/horror, but I LOVED Hide and seek w/Deniro and Dakota fanning..the twist at the end makes the twist at the end of 6th sense look easy to spot!!!
