I just looked into this. So funny that you posted about it.
It was really hard to find consistent information about MSG. Most of the sites that I found contradicted one another with how it’s made or how people react to it.
When I’ve ever had MSG, I’ve had a horrible reaction. I would never put my child through what I felt like. I felt like going to the ER- it was that bad for me.
If Your husband reacts to it, I’d probably avoid it as much as possible. I’m sure the strength of it in certain foods may be less concentrated and maybe just limit the intake of it in a day. Not to overdo it.
I find it hard to believe in an ingredient that has such differing information on the web. Who are you supposed to believe?
