I know there was prob a thread about this that got deleted or something….

does anyone know if you need to space out mylanta and a PPI and what is the time required?

I hope I am right but zegerid and mylanta can be given at the same time. Others must be spaced 2 to 4 hours from the mylanta.

mylanta can be given w/ zantac…

zantac needs to be seperated from ppi…

okay thanks

i am going to be starting prevacid soon as we are running out of
zegerid. do i have to space out the prevacid and mylanta a certain
amount of hours?

probalby like the zantac & the prevacid- from 2-5hrs

3 or 4hrs seems ‘safe’

I could be wrong, but I think my ped said the timing doesn’t matter with a ppi and mylanta. I have to give Justice Mylanta and Zegerid together. I don’t know if you already have the mylanta,but I would suggest giving the actual mylanta and not the generic. The generic has added ingredients and it tastes horrible.

We gave Kaelyn her prevacid 30 minutes before her bottle and the ped GI said that we could put mylanta in her bottle.
