InactiveIs anyone having luck finding this? I just looked at Walmart and was disappointed they didn’t have the ‘supreme’ version. Remind me again why the supreme version is better? Is it no aluminum or magnesium or something? I would love to have some on hand for our new arrival soon…just don’t know where to find it!

Keymasterit’s hard to find, apparently- the reason for the supreme is bcse it doesn’t have any aluminum- a few people have had luck buying a store-brand version, making sure to read the ingredients and find the store-brand equivalant w/o any aluminum
I hear you about the newborn- w/ Ari I gave him a squirt at any peep he made!

InactiveHi Amy, it is so funny you posted this – just today I made a special trip to Kroger on my lunch for some. They are the only place in my area that seems to have it anymore.

InactiveThanks ladies! I am really excited about the new arrival (scheduled c-section 11/23!) but I’m also assuming we’ll be dealing with reflux and MSPI…so that always puts a damper on things! LOL!
It figures that my small town doesn’t have a Kroger or a Target! 🙂 Maybe I’ll send my mom on a hunt for some and she can bring it to me when she comes down!November 11, 2009 at 4:35 pm #64523Anonymous
Inactiveoh no! I have Mylanta on my current grocery list – hope I don’t have to hunt for it! (my parents & sis live in Atlanta so I guess I can get them to look @ Kroger if I don’t find it locally). I have a $2 off coupon that expires soon & our bottle is very low & I’d like to have some on hand when our new babe arrives as well (well, & Evan still needs some here & there when he has a reflux flare-up).
But…thought I’d share another use for Mylanta:
Evan had/has awful diaper rash starting on Saturday… it went from nothing to BAD in about 6 hrs. Still no clue why but it’s always a crap shoot w/ him – anyway it was raw, sores, peeling, etc (sorry if TMI) – he wouldn’t even sit down & I ended up wearing him (yes, pregnant & all) b/c he was so miserable). Nothing was helping- it wasn’t getting worse, but it wasn’t getting ANY better. We started applying Mylanta (per Baby 411- love that book & then eventually ped suggested too) & it helped within a few hours. It’s still healing (slowly) but the Mylanta has helped a lot (w/ then vaseline applied on top of Mylanta).
Okay, sorry Amy for hijacking but I’ve read that Mylanta is a great resource for many things (mixed w/ benedryl to help canker sores) so who knew?! (sorry if anyone knew this already-lol).
Hope you find some Amy!!

InactiveI was able to find a generic version of Cherry Supreme at CVS pharmacy with no aluminum! (Thanks for the idea to check generics, Laura!) Yipee! NOW I feel ready for the new baby! LOL!

KeymasterI believe it was Beth (or someone else?) who posted about the generic, but as always: glad to help!
