InactiveGood luck. We started 22.5 mg yesterday. So far, no real improvement but I’m hopeful. How much does Shane weigh?

InactiveGood luck to both of you!
I hope 22.5 mgs does the trick. Are you dividing it into two or three doses?February 22, 2007 at 3:25 pm #25555Anonymous
InactiveOh, and I wanted to mention, Dylan is an extremely restless sleeper, so we got a weighted blanket for him and he seems really grounded with it and comfy, he has slept better than ever….
You could give that a try if it is just restless sleeping, but I don’t think it would work if it were diet/reflux etc…..

Inactiveu know what? one time a couple weeks ago our heat broke.. so it was soo cold.. and i put like 3 huge blankets on him.. and he went to get up when the half hour was up.. and he fell right back down.. and passed out for another hour and a half! maybe there is something behind that!!

InactiveIt’s worth a shot!! It really has worked wonders for his restless sleeping….

InactiveHey Lauren, just wanted to say GOOD LUCK with the increase and I hope it settles the question for you.
I think the heavy blanket is an interesting theory as well…only because Sarah slept wonderfully swaddled when her reflux wasn’t under control. I’d be curious to see if he can put himself back to sleep AGAIN with the blankets…hmmm.
Keep us posted!

InactiveI think I have mentioned I have been partially swaddling Alana again lately…mainly because of her obsession with feet. I keep only one arm “tied down”. Anyway she seems to go to sleep quicker and stay asleep longer. I also found that it was better with one of those sleeping bags where they have an arm and leghole…but she grew out of it. So your blanket theory probably has a lot of merit!

KeymasterI’ve been known to pile beanie babies/stuffed animals
on top of jonah, so I’m all for a weighted blanket
…where did you get yours?

InactiveIt was lent to us by a physical therapist from the hospital. We are going to try to find one on line and order it. I think Janice (samantha and lance’s mom) makes them, so I am going to try to e-mail her. There is a post out there somewhere (unless it was lost by hackers) about her now making and selling them? I’ll post where I order it from….
