We just found out yesterday that my father-in-law has cancer. He has 3 spots in one lung, 1 in the other and a spot on his liver. He is 78 years old and is saying he doesn’t want any treatment. He has been a 1-2 pack a day smoker for most of his life so I guess it really doesn’t surprise me but my hubby is taking the news kind of hard as is his mom. We plan to go up there over the Thanksgiving holiday.

There is just getting to be too many people I know getting cancer – it’s getting depressing

Robin,

My father was also diagnosed with lung cancer. Its a hard battle but I always return to my faith to get me thru. I will send prayers your way.
