Need your advices

[Anonymous]

Hello,

My little one is almost 7 months, her name is Agatha. I would like to share my experience and read yours.. maybe you can help us

We’ve been having issues with the acid reflux since she was 1 month.

We tried the zantac, there was no differences… then the prevacid and she was miserable with it (constipation, not sleeping…) , we decided to stop it.

We did some ostheopathy (very commun where I come from – France- for acid reflux) and it helped a lot.

Since she turned 5 months, we’ve been trying to introduce solid food because EVERYBODY was saying that it would be better. And it is actually worst… I am desesperated… So far we have tried: oatmeal, carrot, pear, yams….and when she eats solid food, the reflux is worst, she can’t sleep and she wants to be held all the time.

My pedetrician is telling me that if she does not start solid food soon, she might not want to have it later…

I am not sure if I should wait, give her some medecine, try again… I am so lost and just want her to be happy and eat normally.

thanks for your advices

Carine

many of us did not start solids until our babies were well into their 6th month, or sometimes even longer.

avocado?

pear?

squash?

these might be more on the ‘mild’ side of things?
