My daughter is taking neocate for her mspi and our insurance won’t cover it. If anyone has any for sale please let me know!

What state are you in? There are a number of states that actually have laws mandating some form of reimbursement for elemental formulas.

If you do not live in one of those states I would encourage you to keep trying to get the formula covered by your insurance company. It may be an uphill fight but there are some things you can try, like having your doctor write a letter of medical necessity. There is a sample letter and some other great information and support on the Neocate website:

We recently switched my son to soy, if it works out, then I will have 8 cans of neocate. I just need to make sure he can tolerate the soy first.

melj721: you need to give the soy a good two or even 3 (or even 4) weeks to see that it’s working…
