Hi all, we are trialing Neocate for lo who is 4.5 months old. No blood found in stool, just gastrointestinal upset which I believe caused his silent reflux. Is it unusual to try an elemental formula even if there is no blood found in stool? We got 2 free cans from GI.
1.How do I go about ordering more to continue for 2 weeks total to see if there is improvement? Do I need a prescription or do I order from website? (I am waiting for dr. to call back and it’s taking so long
2. He’s been on it for a day and a half. Do most people see drastic change in first couple of days or do they see change at 2 week mark?

Every baby is different- I’ve read mamas post about dramatic change and I’ve read about gradual change…sorry
