So Abbott is not making Elecare without DHA anymore. Has anyone else’s little one had a reaction to the DHA? It caused baby Jack’s MSPI symptoms to flare after just 2 bottles!! I am at my wits end trying to figure out what to do.:(

I was going to just switch him to Vanilla Elecare but they switched the ingredients in that also. They added aspartame. I just don’t know about giving him something that contains aspartame.

Is anyone is going through this? Any advice would defenitely be appreciated.

Laura,

Do you mean does Jack have similar reactions to Neocate DHA/ARA? Nutricia is also making the transition over to only offering Neocate DHA & ARA.

mom2jackandjill — I can send you some samples of Neocate DHA & ARA to see if it is the same situation as EleCare?
