oddball question

And you’ll probably get a laugh out of “how” it happened, and those of you with more than one kid and a dog or 2 may shake your head and go “yep been there”. Anyway, our dog has a specific blanet he likes to curl up on. Well, Kaden decided to take that blanket off of the doggie bed and throw it on top of Landen’s head this morning and hold it there as I’m running from the kitchen to Landen’s rescue. This issue is, since this happenend, Landen has been sneezing like mad and rubbing his eyes and they are all watery looking (dog hair!) so I’m guessing his allergic to it or just overwhelmed by the dirty blanket . So anywho, should I give him some benadryl? he’s 20 lbs. How much?

I would do a dose of benadryl. I think 1/2 tsp is the correct dose for his age, but I would check the Dr. Sears website. I think it has dosing…..

We just go two new puppies a little over a week ago, and yes, it is a zoo here so I can definitely relate!!

Cooper absolutely loves to get in our beagles bed and roll around, I haven’t had any allergy issues, just that he is covered in dog hair… we wear allot of grey around here!!

Yes, Laura, I know. We have sort of taken on this idea of live every day as it is your last. Carter loves puppies, and we still don’t have a definitive diagnosis, so we sort of thought now or never…. Kind of crazy as we don’t need more chaos, but he absolutely loves and hugs them all the time and they love him, too…. That is worth everything right now…

thanks so much! I have the medicine cabinet saved in my faves now!!! landen is fine today after the benadryl. I think the amount of hair was just overwhelming! LOL He is fine when the actual dog himself is around him.
