ped GI changed meds..

ok so we go to the GI today, and of course my little guy decided to pick THIS day to be all bubbly and happy and suck down 4 ounces and poop so he can show her how UN constipated he is…anyway, she decreased his prevacid from 30 to 15 mgs, told me to give him mylanta before each bottle ( 1ml) and gave me a script for something called levasin (sp?) which she said are “colic drops” to give him in the afternoon and evening? eh whatever I’ll try it. if he gets worse I’ll just up his prevacid dose back to 30.

Hi Jill. I have never personally used Levsin – but understand it’s for
gas. But I think it can have some side effects – so you may want to do
a search here about it?

FYI:

to do a search: there’s the ‘search’ button located in the upper right hand corner of the screen

you put the key word/s you’re searching for

then you choose “Topic Subject” from the drop- down menu of “Search In”

then I like to choose “All Forums” from the drop- down menu of “Search Forum”

then I like to choose “Topic Start Date” from the drop- down menu of “Sort Results By” (this way I get all the posts from the past that might help me)
