Well, our doctor who I feel pretty comfortable with got back to me and said she’s never heard of Zegerid working with little ones and that they’re not going to change anything before our G.I appoint. on Monday. Thank God!!!! It’s finally here!!!! It stinks though because i have had it absolutely up to here with timing the prevacid when I’m not even sure it’s doing it’s job right.
I just have this feeling the ped G/I is going to do nothing but I’m trying to stay positive. I’ll have marci-kids research in hand when we go though. Cross your fingers for us! We’ll need all the prayers we can get. This baby has suffered enough

when you see the ped GI, I would make it very clear what kate’s symptoms are & how they have improved with prevacid (ie: sandifer’s symptoms have lessened, but haven’t disappeared all together- you know there’s room for improvement, etc)- if they have not improved w/ 2wks on prevacid I would of course mention that, too…
I would inquire about zegerid bcse of breastfeeding & how its hard to time the meds around feeding/empty stomach- perhaps just tell how you have ‘a friend’
whose baby uses zegerid & then give the research/marci-kids info- not to lie per se, but sometimes a dr might get upset about info you ‘get off the internet…’good luck!
