Prevacid Question

FINALLY got my pedi to listen to me and change from zantac to prevacid. However instead of the solutabs we’re doing this powdery stuff that needs blending. It’s 15 mgs I believe per package and they each get half a package twice daily. Is this enough? It’s TERRIBLE stuff. It’s disolved in 30 ccs of water but is SO thick that I had to cut the nipple bigger to get them to take it. Took my son 30 mins to down it. My twins are 12 weeks old. Is the dosage high enough and does anyone use the powder stuff and have any suggestions? Thanks.

there’s the prevacid packets, which from my understanding are strawberry flavored. you use the packets to make a liquid to give your baby. I must report that there are many who found that the flavoring bothered their babies. Of course there are those who were fine with the packets. Just something to be aware of.
