my little guy is 3 mos old….12lbs and currently on protonix 3mls (2mg/ml susp) 2x a day.
his protonix is a pharmacy compound, and i would like to start using tummy care if possible. can anyone suggest what they like better… prevacid, prilosec etc?
and do you think the dose he’s currently on is enough…. he seems to be content but is on an ng tube right now because of complete refusal to eat and hasn’t jumped back into brestfeeding as well as i’d like to see.he’s been on this dose of protonix for 3 weeks now.thanks so much!!jwarrenx5 2012-11-23 10:16:08 November 23, 2012 at 12:13 pm #71238hellbenntKeymasterprevacid!! or even nexium (visit the products webpage- I think you can use nexium w/ them? but we LOVED prevacid!)

Probiotics are the good live bacteria that lines, coats, and protects the entire digestive tract. When they are low or depleted it can cause the esophagus to become inflamed, raw, and painful. This can be why babies refuse to eat because it hurts so bad. A mom named Federica was facing having a feeding tube put in her child because of refusal to eat but then tried several different natural things to see if they would help. Here is her story that tells about the different things she tried… http://help4acidreflux.wordpress.com/federicas-story/
