Thanks so much for the pics. What I’m seeing is mucous. Actually he has them frequently so I’ll talk to the GI about it on Thrus. I just don’t know…..this stuff is such a guessing game sometimes
since you’re breastfeeding, you can try eliminating all milk & soy proteins from your diet & see if the mucous goes away/lessens…this is hard and can take 2-3wks to get all of the proteins out of your system…or, you could just go ahead & do the Total Elimination Diet just to see if (or what) anything you’re eating is affecting your baby’s reflux/diapers/fussiness/sleeping…
thanks..but I’ve been off ALL milk for 3.5 mo. & soy for almost 2 mo. He gets lots of blood from the milk. I also eliminated all nuts 2.5 wks ago. American Academy of Peds recommends the no nuts for bf moms. He was having some blood specks which I haven’t seen since I did that. Maybe it’s the beef. I have beef about once a week on the weekends. I don’t know….I guess we’ll see what the doc. says I’ve seen some people say that the ppi caused it and also the mylanta.???
I feel so bad for you. I truly believe in God and truly believe that God made women able to feed our children through BF. So why, then does this happen?? It is so hard. I hope you find the offending food and are able to add other things to your diet.
Beef was and is a problem for Justice and myself. Not sure why though. I miss steak, but for everything else I use ground turkey. I can’t tell a difference. Well, I like the texture of the turkey better. If I could do it all over again, I would’ve tryed the elim. diet sooner. That way, it would’ve just been over and done with. If you decide to it, there are plenty of us moms that have meal ideas. I really hope things get better for you soon.
