So…I used to be on this board A LOT when my now 5 year old was a baby — she had terrible silent reflux and the ladies on here were a lifesaver. And here I am again with my second child…sigh.

Anyway….I am about to try omep otc with caracream max. Right now I am giving the omep capsules…opening them, giving him the beads. 10mg twice a day with a little pedialyte to wash it down.

When I start the CCmax am I going to have that horrid 2 week period again????? Or should it be a fairly smooth transition? And CCmax is better for gas right? Because we have gas issues already and I do not need more gas!

anyway: now that med is in system, it is not like starting all over again; you do not have the two week wait period…

gas sounds like digestive issues; I see baby is on alimentum…

oh thank god we don’t have go through that again…i did hear that he might have more gas when we start the ccmax though.

Yep, he’s on alimentum…seems to be working well. his gas is really only a fraction of what it used to be and he mostly passes it just fine.
