I wanted to throw this topic in here as it may be helpful for some parents with refluxers, and parents with babies who have or may have allergies to certain food products in formula’s.
It was mentioned in another forum(help section) by a new member that the ready to feed Similac Expert Care(Alimentum) does not contain corn. However if you look at the ready to feed vs the powder, the powder does in fact contain corn and or corn products, such as corn syrup.
I have not ever considered the fact that ready to feed formula’s may not contain certain ingredients that the powder formula does, I know amounts of certain ingredients may be higher in the powder form than the ready to feed form, which may be something parents should take into consideration when switching formula’s to find what’s best for baby.
I am going to do a little research on this, as most people feed hypoallergenic formula on this forum, but I will take the most popular formula’s including soy, and compare powder to the ready to feed mixtures.
