OK< this is a really gross question, but I just need to ask someone…
My 17mth old has been getting stuffy lately, but it’s not runny, it’s really hard gross boogers. I know–EEEWWW!
They just get stuck in his nose and accumulate after a couple days. When I get them out, they’re really hard and big. No wonder he’s all stuffy and can’t breathe. He does much better after they come out, but it’s not easy to get them.
saline at every diaper change to loosen stuff up & get things flowing, lol!
I wouldn’t necessarily use the syringe all that much- I read that it can actually irritate things and then make body make more boogers (?) – I always just use(d) saline and let gravity do it’s thing
you might be? I’m no expert, lol…but maybe just do it less often? once everything gets all loose in there, there isn’t a need to suction it out…eh, who knows?
yeah i dunno…the reason i suction is because once its all loosened he
has a tenedency to just snort it back in and then i cant even find
it …then he just gets more stuffed up…
