I have to ask it anyways. We are flying on Monday and I was wondering if the flying would cause any problems for my reflux baby. He seems under control but didn’t know if the pressure would do anything to him.
Sorry….I thought about it but just don’t know. I’d be concerned too if I had to take Myles on a flight, but I don’t really know if the altitude would have any effect or not. Probably not is my guess.
I hope you have a good trip and Ryan does well on the flight. If he takes a pacifier it’s supposed to help with the pressure in the ears during take-0ff and landing. If not, feeding him at that time also helps, if he’ll eat.
I hope your trip was okay, my lo has severe reflux and has flown several times and it never made it any worse. In fact, on several flights people just thought he seemed like hte happieset baby ever! haha. He was a prolific spitter, and never got worse– or more frequent– while in the air.
Well, we are back and we had the best vacation. The flight was 3 hours and Ryan slept 2 hours down and 1..5 hours back. When he was up he was happy as could. The reflux didn’t seem to bother him in the least.
We went to a Club Med in Florida called Sandpiper. They specialize in families with young children. It was awesome. They offerend childcare, and our room came equipped with strollers, cribs, highchairs, bottle warmers. The kids had such and awesome time and we even extended our visit by one day because we were having so much fun. It was all-inclusive and that even included baby food for ds.
Ohhh….. that sounds wonderful! Glad you had fun and the flying went well. Went on a trip last week to visit the inlaws… 3 hour flight. She screamed for 2.5 of it. Not going to do that again for a LONG time!
