respiratory obstruction with sandifer's?

anyone have a baby with sandifer’s that also has problems with respiratory obstruction? if so, would you please share your experiences? on occasion it sounds like my baby is gasping for air, or taking a big breath, like before a yawn. this is not all the time, but often in the evening or when sleeping. anyone else have this? thanks!

Hi!! The gasping for air, is for sure something of Sandifers. Does it sometimes also sound like a ‘hicup’ but yet its not? My daughter gets the bronco spasm attacks with her Sandifers, and it sounds like she is gasping for air, her whole body jerks, but she is able to breathe. This happens more so when she is lying down and sleeping, but not so much when she is upright. I have SO many stories about what has happened with Turi, that I think we are so very well educated about it now. Plus it helps having a Dr down the street who has greatly helped us out, especially in 100% diagnosing her with Sandifers. Yes, my LO does gasp for air…almost like she has a form of asthma. We had an EEG done because she is making these weird movements but that came back negative so I think she does have sandifers…we are waiting to get into a neurologist to make that call. But she does have the same symptoms that you mention.
