so last night Ryder was actually the worse he has ever been even when he was a infant! He got up 5 times last night. I am going CRAZY.
I can’t tell what could be the problem ( darn -it would be wonderful if he could actually talk!) The new things that we have added recently were amoxicillain and adousphylus and the prevacid is about 2-3 weeks new. He was sleeping a bit better in the prevacid when I was giving him 2 tablets a day. the GI pedi said I was giving too much but hell I don’t know what is going on! He did have a cold with a cough but that has passed about 3-4 days now.
He use to love to nurse sideline but now he doesn’t want to at all. He seems to be comfort nursing.
I am at the point where I want to let him CIO but if it’s due to the reflux then I don’t want to do it.
Does it sound like reflux or is he just playing us???? should I try CIO? HELP!
Iam really exhuasted and just run down. I have to go to work and cut hair— great I will most likely cut my hand

Well we stopped everything- no more acidopholus or antibotics. I REALLY hate stopping the antibotics before the full 10 days. I know it’s not a good idea. Makes super bugs~~~~~~~
ao anyhow…… I put Ryder down before I went into work and he slept for TWO HOURS— which hasn;t been happening. THEN while I was at work DH put him down ( he brought him in so I could nurse him~we do this when I am slow at work~I do hair
) He then slept ANOTHER TWO HOURS! He was only sleeping maybe 30-45 mins in the AM and 1 and half in afternoon. So I guess we will see what happens.
What does this mean though~ is it the antibotics? Do I need to let teh GI know about it? I have no clue if the acidpholus was okay for soy free/ dairy free kiddies. I am PRAYING this was it ! I will let you all know tomorrow.
Of course we need to go to a wake/funeral up on the Cape so we most likely will be spending the night there since it’s about 3 hours away. I just hope my DD will sleep!!
MMmm, from memory, Alana was on amoxillyn when discharged from hospital after a UTI. She was exceptionally irritable on it and we stopped it after 2-3 days with the Peads blessing (admittedly she had IV antibiotics whilst in hospital so her bug had fled
in defeat). I’m pretty sure the side effects include stomach cramps, sleeplessness etcGlad to here little Ryder is doing better.
Last night was better- not a great amount. I am sure when the antibotic is out of his system it will hopefully be better 🙂 Keeping my fingers crossed
He went down at his normal time of 8:30ish and he woke up at 9 and he cried for a minute and went back to sleep. Then he woke up at 11 and I went in to nurse him and all he seemed to want was to be hold. He didn’t nurse at all. I think I could have let him cry a bit but wasn’t sure if he would go back to sleep. Then he woke at 2:30 then 5:30. He did go 6 hours between nursing though
I don’t mind him getting up at the 2:30 feeding though I would prefer him to sleep till 5 :30 but beggars can’t be choosers!
