Thanks for the kind wishes everyone. I’ve been feeling a bit depressed about things today- the fact that we’re still in this mess after a year, feeling scared that she won’t outgrow it. Anyhow, thanks again, I don’t know how I made it through, but know that you’ve all helped me to stay somewhat sane.

I’ll keep you posted on what she does with the cake tonight!!

Happy Birthday Hailey. I hope that 1 year is the turning point for you guys and that the second year is a reflux free year. Hope she likes the cake too. Tyler wont be able to have any cake this year he is either not allowed or allergic to most cake ingredients, but next year he can have the whole cake to himself!

Thanks. Well as expected, the cake was a no go. We never even got to it, actually. She started getting fussy in her chair before it really came out, and then when we brought it out, she just started screaming. Oh well. Maybe next year… Or better yet, I’ll forgo the cake if only we could get rid of this dreadful reflux!
