Hello- I’m new here although my 6 month old son(weighs about 18lbs) has been diagnosed for 4 months. He is taking prevacid and zantac. He also has a milk protein intolerance and is on alimentum. We started solids over a month ago and he loves them. He now is up to 3 meals a day. Each meal is well over the calories of a 6 oz bottle and most times it is cereal with formula. He will no longer take a bottle unless he is falling asleep for a nap or bed. He refuses bottles any other time. He gets about 20 oz of formula a day. I’m concerned that he is getting too many calories from a non-formula source, but I am glad that he is at least eating something if he won’t take a bottle. Anyone have any experience like this? BTW- he has always been a reluctant bottle eater and before we started medicine, he would react the same way to bottles that he is now.
