My 15 mth old son just loves to suck and chew on something cold. I have a teething ring that goes in the freezer, but it doesn’t last him very long. Not nearly long enough for him. I wonder if there’s a teething ring that stays frozen longer. Most of the teethers you see at the store can not be frozen.
I’ve tried the mesh bag with ice chips. He likes it a lot, but it’s such a mess. I’ve tried popcicles–even more of a mess!!!
Anyone out there have anything they use that works fantastic?
We used to wet wash cloths and then put them in the freezer. Worked well because she could really chew on it afterwards…. but that was when she was younger. When she was Henry’s age we moved on to home made poscicles (which were a big mess), frozen berries, frozen yogurt freezies, and regular freezies.
at that age, I sat jonah down on the kitchen floor or the high chair with a cup of crushed ice and let him go to town
also, frozen fruit slices, like apples & peach, frozen berries…frozen carrot stick…
hylands teething tablets (I gave a LOT more than what the package said- I’m not a medical doctor and I’m not advocating going against what the product recommends- jsut giving a disclaimer here lol!)
