UGH!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel like I am going to go crazy. Justice has been grumpy for the last 2 days. Not screaming like in pain, just grumpy. I can’t put him down. Also when I’m feeding him he has started pulling off, rolling over, and getting upset. No abnormal spit up and no painful burps. Also he is pooping like normal again. I’m just not sure if this is the begining of the reflux signs. When would you put your babies back on the meds?

I have been such a horrible mom today. I hate not knowing what to do. I also hate that there could be a million reasons he is grumpy. All babies get grumpy sometimes. I can’t wait till all this reflux is gone for sure. I guess I should say he has been off the meds for 5 days today.

I tried to wean Aidan at 6 months…and put him back on at 7. But he went NUTS with the refluxing and screaming when he was totally off!!!

I don’t know much about this really, but I wonder, could it be possible that he is refluxing but there is not enough damage yet to cause pain just irritability? Kind of like when you are on Zantac and it is a little OK but not totally OK?

I am sure you have thought of this, but if you are breastfeeding have you done anything different? I have also heard some babies self wean? Not sure if that is true or not, definately not an expert on breastfeeding!

I get what you mean though, sometimes they are just grumpy because they are- they might have a cold, teeth moving around, be p%^&ssed of at the world (OK maybe not!). I guess you will know soon enough.

Hope you can decipher the code- maybe get Tom Hanks around (OK that wasn’t funny!)
