we have well water. ours does not have flouride (our pedi just knew this based on where we lived) lol. anyway, she said she feels like fluoride was ok, but didn’t want to give us fluoriude packets or drops b/c you can give a kid too much fluoride too. she told me to buy the kids Colgate toothpaste that contains fluoride and let them swallow some every night.
p.s. i used bottled water too when mixing formula, but we have a PUR system on our faucet for just giving water now that they are older. landen is drinking (or should i say turning his nose up at) EO28 splash now and luckily it is premixed, i just poke a hole in the tetra pak and empty it into his sippy.
coming back to edit/add: i have not noticed that smell with our water, but i know many people that swear their well water stinks like rotten eggs!
