Tips on giving Prilosec packet?

Hi,

Our doctor just gave us a prescription for Prilosec 10mg packets. My son is 15 months old. We mixed it with 1 tbsp of water this morning, but no way was he going to drink it (he doesn’t really like anything but water). I tried using the syringe we had (which was only 2ml), and by the time I got done, most of it was on his outfit!

Any tips on giving it? I’m sure he was also cranky because he was really hungry since we had to give it on an empty tummy. I never knew that 1 tbsp of anything was so much liquid!!

Would Buffer Babies work with those packets? I’m new to all of this, so any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
