My little girl has been referred to a ped gi, but we don’t go for another two months. In the meantime, I am just trying to make her as comfortable as possible. I NEED HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is 4 months old and weighs 11 lbs. She was 7 when she was born, so you can understand my flustration with her reflux. She is currently on Prilosec, and I have been reading post that are interesting about adding in Mylanta/Tums. I WANT TO START THIS, but I don’t know where to begin. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What is the best way to start her, and how do I go about giving her the additional OTC meds? Again, I am just trying to make her comfortable at this point.Furthermore, any ideas on why she is all of a sudden not sleeping AT ALL at night??? She is waking about every hour. We are both exhausted.April 19, 2010 at 5:04 pm #66230hellbennt

read Prevacid 101 (last post on the page) to learn about the different forms of prevacid (and prilosec, too!)
the adding tums and mylanta is two ‘things’:
1) there’s a medicine called zegerid (in Prevacid 101) where you add them
2) you can buy mylanta and give to your baby, just make sure to space it 4hrs from the prilosec. <!–
