Just wondering if anyone else has read about pasteurization as the larger issue with MSPI kids? I’ve seen it a lot lately and wondered if anyone had tried organic cow’s milk to get around that and if they had success? Do I sound as desperate as I feel!??! 😉
I think organic milk is still pasteurized. Atleast all of the brands I’ve bought have been. I didnt even realize you could get unpasteurized milk. Sorry I’m not any help with your inital question.
The difference is that most organic milks are ultra-pasteurized which brings them to an even higher temperature and therefore not requiring additional preservatives to keep the milk fresh.
When we trial this, I’ll let you guys know how it goes. I am inclined to try it once things calm down and he is reaction free for a while. Thanks for all the helpful advice as usual!!! 😉
Good luck with the trial. I know tha tultra-pasteurization is sometimes the answer. The Meyenberg goat’s milk Robbie drinks is UP, and that is why it doesn’t have a bunch of other junk in it and what helps him SO much!
Thank you so much everyone! His name is Grant and he was exactly the same weight and height as his big brother who is nearly to the day two years older! What great fun boys are! Anyone know how to swap a serious sleeper from day to night? That’s about the only problem we have! Thanks again for the congrats. We are thrilled!
