Hello. Never thought I’d be on this site for the 3rd time. Thought I would bypass this reflux hell or atleast prevent it from getting too out of control. Well, baby #3 has silent reflux, he really tricked me. I thought maybe he was just gassy. He was on Alimentum since birth. Now he has great difficulty eating when awake and will sleep feed. He is on the pharmacy compounded omeprazole suspension 3ml 2Xday an its not working. I give him 1 ml of axid in the middle of the day. I also just found the cvs brand mylanta cherry supreme W/out aluminum. Dr. said i can space mylanta and ppi 1 hour apart? I think i read 4 hours somewhere on this board? Also, i am in the process of faxing over bufferbabies info to the dr. so she can prescribe prilosec in capsule form. I believe i can buy it otc now??? I don’t know how or where to start with dosing. Can someone please help me? Feel so bad for my lo. I should have recognized the signs earlier. Thank you so much!

Thank you! I am waiting for my free introductory kit of bufferbabies to be used with omeprazole OTC 20mg capsules. David is in the process of moving offices so there might be a delay in shipment. I can’t wait to get it. Thank goodness the meds are OTC because the dr. and nurse practitioner cannnot believe that the pharmacy compounded omeprazole is not working correctly. Oh yeah, and she has never heard of reflux solutions or marci kids. How is that possible??????? Anyway, we are trialing the neocate right now and hoping for some improvement. Thanks again.
