Walter Reed Army Hospital, are they good?

Well, it turns out we don’t have the choice. Johnny will be sent to the Walter Reed Army Hospital in DC. Just wondering if any of you or anyone you know have experiences with the hospital? Are they any good? (although we can’t choose the hospital, I still would like to know what I should expect).

there is a HUGE babywearing group in the DC area! If you go to http://www.thebabywearer.com and post in a forum there (probably parenting chat) you will definitely get answers and even get to meet great people. That’s what I’d do…Heck, you’ll even learn a lot about babywearing -(in fact, they’ll all want you to bring over German Wraps-Girasol, Didymos, Storchenwiege, as they’re all the ‘rage’ lately!)

Walter Reed is an excellent hospital! I live in the DC area and they are wonderful. My husband was in the Marine Corps and was sent over to Iraq. He was injured in a fire fight and spent some time in a German hospital before he was sent back to the US. He did some rehab at Walter Reed. They were wonderful!
