InactiveCongratulations!!! Each pregnancy can be different, so hopefully the morning sickness won’t be so bad this time.
Also, there are people who have one refluxer and one or more non-refluxers, so there is hope! And, if the baby does have reflux, you’ll know what to this time around.Wishing you the best of luck!July 23, 2007 at 3:59 pm #39766Anonymous

InactiveEmily, I hope we don’t get another refluxer but if we do this time around, I’ve stocked up on Prevacid from Ariella (hehehe).

InactiveCongrats!! I give birth in a little over a week (induction) so I totally relate to worries about pregnancy and reflux. Just do what you can to take care of yourself and squeeze in the rest! We paid for extra daycare days and although financially it set us back, I’m glad I got a bit of a rest and time to do my nesting chores.
I’ll cross my fingers for you that we both have reflux free babies! Keep us posted:)July 25, 2007 at 2:36 pm #39855Anonymous

Keymasterjust seeing this now!
congratulations!!it IS possible to have the second baby be a non-refluxer!
and, if she/he is a non-refluxer, just know that mylanta cherry supreme works wonders on non-refluxers, too, LOL
with 2 little ones, babywearing will really help

InactiveLaura, I got the Mayya sling with Ariella and we both completely hated it!! It looked very unsafe and Ariella looked very uncomfortable in it. I know you’re big on baby wearing. Which would you recommend? I’m very nervous as they’ll be 18 months apart :((

Keymasterfor a newborn, hands down I say get a stretchy wrap!
this photo shows a terrible position- it looks like ari’s newborn head is going to snap off
but believe me my hand was right there & he was fine- he IS fine, LOL!
it seems very complicated, but believe me it’s easy, LOL. Regardless of the amount of slings I have, I truly am an awkward sling learner
! But with this it was easy!hellbennt2007-07-30 09:53:48

InactiveAww, he looks very peaceful (well, the back of his head does :))) How do you get your picture to come up like that? I’ve tried so many times to do that and I haven’t been successful so far.
