InactiveHi everyone! We’re settled (mostly) into the new house! Sarah ended up being at my mom’s house for three whole days! Wow, that was hard! I missed her like crazy! Thankfully I had enough stuff to do around here that I kept pretty busy.
Her surgery went OK this morning. I lost it when I saw her in recovery. I think I was crying just as hard as she was.
It was difficult to see her crying and sooooooo limp and out of it. She slept most of the 1.5 hour car ride home. She was in pretty good spirits when we got home…just small spurts of pain. She PROJECTILE puked all over the floor after lunch…twice. Yummy strained peas…I’m scared to feed her anything else today.
She’s down for a nap right now. Hopefully the rest of the afternoon/evening will be smooth sailing…and hopefully we have now said goodbye to recurrent ear infections! That’s all here!
It’s good to be back!June 4, 2007 at 3:29 pm #35571hellbennt

InactiveAmy!
YEAH for a new house! That’s so exciting for you all, and great that it all worked out so that you have your summer break to work at moving in and all.
And that’s so good that Sarah’s surgery went well and that she seems to be in good spirits. Hopefully, the projectile puke was just an isolated occurence.
Here’s hoping for no more ear infections. I HATE those things. June 4, 2007 at 9:39 pm #35629Anonymous

InactivePoor little Sarah, I hope she can keep down those peas soon. Knowing her, I’m sure she will be up and around and chirpy pretty soon.
Great to hear you have a HOUSE> No more sleeping in the car

InactiveI have been very busy working on the house and wanted to show my progress! The red dining room and yellow entry way are now toned down and it made a huge difference! We are going to tackel the wood paneling (which seems to be EVERYWHERE!) in a few weeks. So much work!

InactiveWow, that looks really nice now Amy! Good job!
I really like what you did with it. Good luck with all the paneling.

Inactiveaww cute houe amy! i actually like the red
..but the yellow had to go!
good job. and it does look a lot brighter now! thats amazing how paint can make such a difference. i like how you decorated it too! your table and chairs are way better too! how are you going to do the cabinets? i am soo not handy like that!June 10, 2007 at 10:03 pm #36232Anonymous
InactiveI actually Like the red in the kitchen as well, although it does look better now. Its good to put your own touch to things, makes it seem like home. Very spacious to. Can you just paint over the top of the wood panelling with special paint?
