what should i go for?

my daughter is on omeprazole (losec, prilosec) and i have a choice of the syrup condensed or the tablet mups.

are there any benefits to either? or cons?

i have tried both so far and i’m not sure apart from the condensed tastes horrid and tends to go unstable on the last 2 days off the 2 weeks.

any advice?

youre right the liquid loses stability quickly.

can you get zegerid where you are? thats the easiest because its a
poweder you mix with water and you can give it anytime, with or without
formula.

I don’t think we can get zegerid in the uk? at least some one told me no

Can i buy caracream ffrom a pharmacist?

The mups are fine to use as i mix with some applesauce and she loves it, but I thought that the suspension worked better although it’s hard to tell as she is not on a high enough dose of either yet.

The dr started her on 5mg a day and now on 10mg a day, this is so not helping her much!! I know this drug can work as it has made a difference but she still needs a higher dose.

The private dr i am going to see is on hols until monday and then he normally has a 2 week waiting list for an appointment although i will try and get one asap!

Mind u we have waited 6 months trying to get help from the normal drs and pead …..what a waste of time

If the mups are working and you don’t have trouble timing meals, then I wouldn’t worry about it.

if you find you’re interested in caracream you have to contact marci-kids.

they send it to you & give you instructions about how to mix it up yourself- you use capsules & break them open & mix the caracream- we did it for about a year- not so hard
