Ok, so after Zantac was added, Zachary is a whole new baby! He’s cheery throughout the day, less fuss, better naps, and less spit-up. He still won’t sleep at night unless he is on me on his tummy in the recliner. He has been sleeping much longer and more comfortably on me though. I can’t sleep in this chair anymore so we bought the angelcare monitor and just installed it. He’s napping with it now in the pack n play (we have company sleeping in his room so he’s in our room in the pack n play). Now he can sleep comfortably on his tummy and I can sleep a little easier knowing I’ll be alerted if he stops breathing. We had to play with the sensitivity as we are on the second floor of a complex and there is much subtle movement. I think it’s dialed in. Totally worth the money to ease my mind. I’m still a worry wort of a mommy, and I’m still worried about him being on his tummy. However, my mommy intuition tells me that’s what I need to do in order for my baby to get the sleep his growing mind and body needs (not to mention to regain my sanity!). The monitor helps a little.
